Paul Schumann (Small Groups)
Five
ways to describe me:
a) Physically: 5" 11 3/4" - I always wanted to be
a 6' bass.
b) Chronologically: somewhere over 30..., OK 40..., well,
you get the idea
c) Philosophically: A follower of Christ. That pretty much
colors how I approach life
d) Relationally: Husband of 34 years, father of two young
adults, grandad to a great 8 month old
e) Culinarily: (well, it ought to be a word) I love coconut
ice cream!

life

d) Participate as a member of the leadership team
e) Help with pastoral care and pastoral counseling
What are my hobbies?
music, wood working, sailing
What makes me laugh?
The smile of my grandson, our young cat tearing through the
house for no apparent reason, making someone else laugh
What books are you reading?
Just finished Rob Roy, by Sir Walter Scott. Currently reading
4 other books
How has Christ transformed my life?
This would take a book. Love was changed from self-centered
to other-focused, but I feel more loved than ever.
I discovered joy is more about who you are connected to than
just striving for fun.
I found that in trusting God I have more peace than flailing
around trying to create my own security.
And because of the hope of life after this life, living really
does matter.
